Network Engineering & Equipment Group

This group consists of a wide variety of member companies operating across the gas network engineering and equipment supply chain including Gas Distribution Networks (GDNs) and National Infrastructure and Utility Providers.

The Network Engineering and Equipment Group (NEEG) includes members who provide support to the supply chain such as training providers, testing, inspection and certification companies, and logistics together with innovation consultants.

Companies in membership include: GTC, Morrison Utility Services, Future Energy Group, Wolseley UK, Radius Systems, GPS PE Pipe Systems

Our next meeting is a Joint Utilities Engagement Event on Thursday 22nd November 2018 at Control Point House, Chesterfield, Derbyshire.

November's event promises to be an extremely informative and interesting session, speakers include;

  • HS2 learn more about the context utilities sit in, within the wider HS2 world from HS2 Project Director (Route wide Logistics Utilities & Transport, Phase 1)
  • The Home Builders Federation will be outlining the challenges to utility connections providers, along with house building updates and policy.
  • Northern Gas Networks Director of Stakeholder Relations will be providing an insight into Whole System thinking and the need for all supply chains to work together.
  • The British Plastics Federation (BPF) Pipes Group Director will be providing updates on product specifications, skills, and knowledge.
  • Head of National Grid Gas Transmission, Regulation will be speaking on ‘Shaping the Gas Transmission System’
  • Lloyd's Register Utilities Senior Assessor will be elaborating on ‘Beyond the Norm’ (schemes outside of the traditional Utilities arena)
