Stay gas safe – HHIC pledges support for Gas Safety Week

Leading trade body, the Heating and Hotwater Industry Council, HHIC pledges its support for Gas Safety Week, 14th – 20th September by calling on homeowners to stay gas safe.
Stewart Clements, Director at HHIC said “Gas Safety Week reminds all homeowners about the importance of staying gas safe and having their gas central heating and fire serviced regularly by a Gas Safe Registered engineer.
We also want homeowners to install a CO detector if they don’t already have one. CO is the silent killer, so called because it has no taste or smell, and so a detector can often mean the difference between life and death.”
