ICOM appoints Bob Walsh as technical consultant

The ICOM Energy Association has appointed Bob Walsh as technical consultant to support the Association’s work on regulatory compliance and other technical issues relating to commercial and industrial heating. Bob brings a wealth of experience of the industry, combined with a passion for engineering excellence and a commitment to teamwork.
ICOM Director Ross Anderson commented: “Bob doesn’t just have the technical experience we need, he also has an enthusiastic, entrepreneurial and positive outlook that will significantly bolster the Association’s resources. I have no doubt that he will make a valuable and significant contribution to the support we deliver to our members and their customers.”
Bob Walsh added: “This is a challenging period for the commercial and industrial heating sector as we manage the requirements of ever-changing regulations as well as addressing the environmental aspirations of those who use our products. I’m looking forward to getting to grips with these challenges and working closely with members, who bring so much value through their work on our technical committees.”
