HHIC takes ErP on tour

12th Aug 2015

The Heating and Hot Water Industry Council, HHIC, are taking their industry knowledge and expertise on the Energy Related Products Directive (ErP) ‘on tour’.

Stewart Clements, Director, HHIC said;

A recent survey found that around 78 per cent of installers still feel unprepared ahead of the introduction of ErP. The study of over 500 installers revealed the knowledge gap many have surrounding the forthcoming legislative change, with over 50% admitting they are unsure which month the new labelling system will come into force.

HHIC want to help bridge that gap. So we are taking the knowledge we have gained through our involvement in the directive ‘on tour’. In addition to that we will also be introducing our plans to expand Benchmark, giving a strong voice to installers, where it counts.

My advice- If you are an installer in the Heating industry, attending one of these events is a must.

HHIC will be presenting at both The Heating & Renewables Roadshow and PHEX 2015.
