EUA NEEG Meeting - 13th February

Fifty attendees gathered at hosts Thames Tideway stunning event space to hear from a fantastic line up of speakers providing insight on a range of key industry topics and sector issues.

NGGT Gas Network Analyst Suki Ferris opened the meeting with a presentation on how hydrogen can shape the future of heat. 

HSE HM Inspector of Health and Safety Andrew Cooke, updated attendees on the regulatory environment HSE work in, along with an update on their organisation. 

Next up was SGN Director Stakeholder Relations and EUA President Helen Bray who provided on overview of SGN’s GD-2 Business Plan.

Hosts Tideway also shared information on the 25km Super Sewer under the Thames which they are building. This necessary expansion of London’s sewer network is due for completion in 2024 and is happening across 24 construction sites in London.
