EnCO Matrix

Introduction to the EnCO Matrix

The EnCO Matrix (or Gap Analysis) is a self-analysis tool to help an organisation assess its current position on energy behaviour/engagement. It can also be used by consultants and others to assess the position of their clients.

There are five rows representing key aspects defining an Energy Conscious Organisation. These are: Engagement, Alertness, Skills, Recognition and Adaption.

There are five columns or levels numbered 0 to 4. Level 0 indicates that little or nothing is in progress, whereas Level 4 represents best practice. The levels in-between (1, 2 and 3) show increasing levels of development and progress.
